    The IBM 9402 AS/400 Advanced 36 Model 436 business computing system increases capacity and performance for IBM System/36 customers. The AS/400 Advanced 36 Model 436 with PowerPC technology offers three new feature processors. AS/400 Advanced 36 Model 436 with SSP Release 7.5 and the addition of OS/400 Version 3 Release 6 features: capacity beyond that supported by SSP; integrated fax; Internet access; new and updated applications; programming productivity; increased LAN and communications support, including wireless LAN; Electronic Customer Support (ECS); and improved PC support via Client Access for OS/400.
