Product Description
IBM EN0K PCIe3 4-port (10 Gb FCoE & 1 GbE) SFP+Copper & RJ45 Adapter (CCIN 2CC1, P/N 00E8140)
The IBM EN0K is a high-performance converged network adapter featuring two 10 Gb SFP+ ports for Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) and Ethernet NIC traffic plus two 1 Gb RJ45 ports for standard Ethernet connectivity. Designed for IBM Power Systems servers, this PCIe Gen3 x8 card supports active copper twinax cabling on the SFP+ ports and CAT-5/6 on the RJ45 ports. With 256 MB onboard memory and interrupt moderation, it provides efficient, low-latency performance for converged LAN and storage networking in AIX, IBM i, Linux, and VIOS environments.
Features
- Two 10 Gb SFP+ ports supporting FCoE and Ethernet NIC functions via active copper twinax cables (up to 5 m)
- Two 1 Gb RJ45 ports for 1 GbE / 100 MbE Ethernet over standard CAT-5/6 UTP cabling (up to 100 m)
- PCIe 3.0 x8 interface delivering high bandwidth and low latency
- Converged capability to unify storage (FCoE) and data traffic on the same adapter
- 256 MB onboard buffer memory for enhanced throughput and data handling
- Intelligent interrupt moderation / coalescing to minimize host CPU usage
- Compliant with IEEE 802.3ae (10 Gigabit Ethernet), 802.3ab (1 Gigabit Ethernet), and FCoE standards
- Short, full-height form factor suitable for standard PCIe3 slots
