The IBM EN1K is the low-profile version of the high-performance PCIe4 dual-port Fibre Channel host bus adapter (HBA), delivering up to 32 Gb/s per port using SR (Short Range) optics via SFP+ transceivers. Engineered for IBM Power Systems servers with low-profile PCIe Gen4 slots, this adapter supports auto-negotiation down to 16 Gb/s and 8 Gb/s for excellent backward compatibility. It offers ultra-high-throughput, low-latency connectivity to storage area networks (SANs) in modern enterprise environments running AIX, IBM i, Linux, and VIOS.
