The IBM EN0L is the low-profile variant of the converged network adapter, providing two 10 Gb SFP+ ports for Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) and Ethernet NIC traffic alongside two 1 Gb RJ45 ports for standard Ethernet. Built for IBM Power Systems servers with a PCIe Gen3 x8 interface, this adapter supports active copper twinax cables on the SFP+ ports (up to 5 m) and CAT-5/6 cabling on the RJ45 ports (up to 100 m). It features 256 MB onboard memory, interrupt moderation for reduced CPU load, and full convergence of LAN and storage networking in AIX, IBM i, Linux, and VIOS environments.
