IBM 5083 1063Mbps Storage Expansion Tower

IBM 5083 adds up to 16 disk units (a total of 32 disk units are possible with the addition of #5058). #5083 includes a 1063Mbps optical bus card, various cables (including an optical cable). The Storage Expansion Tower includes two SPD card slots, space for 16 disk units, one battery backup, one 400-watt base power supply two 500-watt power supplies and a regulator. The two SPD card slots may only be used for adding disk unit IOPs. A 220V line cord is supplied. The line cord supplied will be 220V.
