IBM 5058 is provides space for up to sixteen disk units when attached to the #5073 or #5083 expansion towers on Models 500, 510, and 530. The #5058 includes a battery backup unit that is placed into the tower. #5058 is capable of controlling the new Ultra SCSI disk units.
