IBM 6050 feature is an 8-port twinaxial workstation controller and workstation adapter with a 20 foot attachment cable for attaching 5250 type displays and printers. Up to 40 devices may be attached per #6050. #6050 is now supported for migration only and cannot be ordered. It is replaced by #6180: Twinaxial Workstation IOA. Requires one SPD I/O card slot. For #9050: #9050 represents the Base Twinaxial Workstation Adapter/Controller. #9050 is specified on new orders where #5541: ASCII System. Console and a twinaxial workstation adapter are required. #9050 is also allowed as a migrated feature during an upgrade.
